About Me

For as long as I can remember, I have had a passion for gardening and the many benefits it can bring. I have ensured that, throughout my life, gardening has always played a central role in both my professional and private life.

Studying Environmental Science at University and subsequently qualifying as a teacher, helped me share my passion in all the schools I have taught in. I am proud that this work has left a legacy, ensuring many children have had the chance to experience the thrill of planting a seed, nurturing it and watching it grow. Working in the garden also offered young people a safe place to express themselves and offered a calming influence to help them manage their emotions.

My devotion and enthusiasm for gardening led me on to study at Bicton College for an RHS Level 3 qualification. Once qualified, I was then able to gain part time employment at a well-known local garden centre as a Horticultural advisor to the general public.

It was always my dream to set up my own business in Horticulture. This was finally realised a few years ago, so that I am now in the very privileged position of being able to earn my living doing something I love, being a Gardener!
